Take a Jazz Journey with Jim Leonard!

A Journey through Jazz copyOn Thursday February 21, Jim Leonard, Master of the Keyboard, will treat us to his history of jazz, touching on its roots and development. Since retiring in Vernon from Ontario, Jim has been kept very busy in the valley, often as an accompanist for groups or individuals such as the Dharma Dolls and Melina (Moore) Schein. Jim is also a classical organist and composer, a retired music educator, and bassist. Back by popular request, he last performed here in 2013. Thursday, February 21, 7 pm, St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Enderby (1406 George St/Hwy 97A). Admission by Donation. Presented by the Enderby & District Arts Council.

10th Annual Enderby Arts Festival – Mark your calendars for July 27, 2019

Mark your calendars for our all-day 10th annual Enderby Arts Festival, featuring over 40 artisan vendors, an all-day entertainment stage, Family Fun Zone with lots of activities for children including the very popular mini-goat petting zoo! The Shukuleles at Music by the River August 26

Come out to enjoy the last 2018 Music by the River presentation by the Enderby & District Arts Council, on Sunday August 26th at 6 p.m. (note earlier start time). The Shukuleles, a local playful 7-woman ukulele band will entertain you and the whole family. Bring a chair or blanket. Free, with donations accepted. Belvidere Park, by the bridge. Sherman Doucette and Tankful of Blues returns to Enderby!

Sherman Doucette and his band Tankful of Blues entertained a large crowd in June 2015 in Enderby. We are thrilled to have him back on Sunday, July 29th, 7-9 pm, at Belvidere Park (by the bridge) in Enderby, as part of our Music by the River series. If it rains, the concert will move to the Enderby Drill Hall, Hwy 97A.

Free, donations accepted at intermission. Bring chairs or blanket. This Music by the River concert is being Co-sponsored by Kal Tire/Tony’s Tire and Fink Machine Inc.

Enderby Arts Festival July 28 only 2 weeks away!

Festival takes place in downtown Enderby, closed streets Cliff Ave and Belvedere St. Family Fun Zone in Belvidere Park by the bridge.
